Hold’em against the dealer: your two cards and the five on the board, against the dealer’s two and the same five. You bet once on Play — the earlier, the bigger — and the best five cards win.
Play money only: nothing to buy, no sign-up. The same rules and payouts as below.
The idea
Bet the Ante and the Blind — always the same — and Trips if you like. You and the dealer get two cards each; five more come to the board, shared. Your best five of seven against the dealer’s.
One bet on Play — when?
Before the flop you may bet 4× or 3× your Ante, or check. After the flop, if you checked, bet 2× or check again. At the river, if you’ve checked twice, bet 1× or fold (and lose the Ante and Blind). Once you’ve bet, you just watch.
The dealer has to qualify
The dealer needs a pair or better. If they don’t have it, your Ante comes back (a push) — the Play and the Blind are still settled. Beat the dealer and the Ante and Play pay even money; lose and all three lose. A tie pushes everything.
The Blind
Win with a straight or better and the Blind pays: Royal flush 500 to 1 · Straight flush 50 to 1 · Four of a kind 10 to 1 · Full house 3 to 1 · Flush 3 to 2 · Straight 1 to 1. Win with less and it pushes. It loses when you lose.
When to bet 4×
A simple book: bet 4× with any ace, any pair of threes or better, a king with a five or better (any suited king), queen-eight (suited queen-six), jack-ten (suited jack-eight). After the flop, bet 2× with a pair you made with your own cards. At the river, bet 1× with any pair of your own — or when fewer than 21 cards the dealer could hold would beat you; else fold. Leave “What the book says” on in Settings and the table tells you under your cards.
Trips
Trips pays on your own seven cards, whatever the dealer has — even if you fold: Royal flush 50 to 1 · Straight flush 40 to 1 · Four of a kind 30 to 1 · Full house 8 to 1 · Flush 7 to 1 · Straight 4 to 1 · Three of a kind 3 to 1.
The tables
The Main Floor — Ante $5–$500; Trips $1–$100. The Lounge — Ante $25–$1,000; Trips $5–$250. High Limit — Ante $100–$5,000; Trips $25–$1,000. The rules and pays are the same at all three.
What every bet pays, and the house edge
The house edge is how much of each bet the casino keeps over the long run — the lower, the better for you.

Tips
Bet 4× before the flop with any ace, any pair of threes or better, and the better kings, queens and jacks.
After the flop, bet 2× with a pair made with your own cards; else check.
At the river, bet 1× with any pair of your own; fold when most dealer cards would beat you.
Trips pays on your own cards, even if you fold.
Match play from your host (a comp) waits by your rail: tap it and it goes beside your Ante. Put at least as much of your own on the Ante to match it. The Ante wins and the coupon pays even money; it loses, or you fold, and the coupon is taken; the Ante pushes (a tie, or the dealer doesn’t qualify) and it stays for the next hand. The Blind is your own chips’ alone; never on Trips.
Tip the dealer: drag a chip onto their name tag, or tap the name. Tips are their own line in your stats.
